Anyone else think they have missed a trick by not including Sat Nav in this limited edition? The limited editions have always struggled to sell in the past and having a Nav in these would certainly have helped. What does everyone think about the price compared to the Highline which obviously does have Nav? With some firm negotiating you could probably pick up a Highline for less than the price of one of these IMOP.

Had a chat to they guys from Lennocks at the German Autofest the other week about the this and they mentioned that they are having a hell of a time trying to shift the one they have. Seems most people who are looking at people movers don't want the GTI like detailing this has. Personally I don't mind it but the wife isn't keen on the black roof.

Its a lot of extra dollars for the GTI styling, Dont you think?Originally posted by irsa76 View Posthaving a hell of a time trying to shift the one they have. Seems most people who are looking at people movers don't want the GTI like detailing this has.

If I had the money to buy a new MV then dont think I would see any reason to spend the extra $20 ish on one.
That is how much extra they are is it not?

 Comfortline 103kw $49,990
 Comfortline 132kw $56,990
 Comfortline 132kw 4Motion $60,990
 Highline 132kw $73,990
 Highline 132kw 4Motion $77,990
 Edition 25 132kw $75,391

If the 25 is the same spec as a regular highline, then it's not too bad. If it's just an up-specc'd Comfortline, then it's a bit much

Edit: Just reading http://www.volkswagenaustralia.com.a...Motorshow).pdf and found this
18”alloy wheel “Avez R” in black with 255/45 R18 tyres and mobility kit replacing spare wheel
what's up with that??Last edited by _ds; 06-10-2011, 09:10 PM.

A few years ago they did do the Sportline edition. Iirc it was the same interior as the E25 with 18" Dakar wheels and sports suspension. Again they seemed to sit on the dealers for along time, at least in Canberra.Originally posted by T5Pete View Posti find that hard to believe. if they'd had the sportline lwb van here I would have snapped that up no questions asked.
The fact is, in Australia the market isn't really into people movers in general and high spec ones especially. I've been looking into what vehicle to replace my Rav4 with and have looked at the Chrysler Grand Voyager, Kia Grand Carnival and the Multivan and all the dealers I spoke too said that they just don't sell them, even the Kia dealer mentioned that apart from the base spec he barely shifts them.
