Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Build Date

    Hi Vanners,

    I am looking at a new Multivan i have found a stock 132kw Comfortline.

    I am told that the build date is 1.1.2011, do they build cars on new years day ??

    I think that's worse then buying a car built on a Friday. Think of the hungover workers on the assembly line!

    Just curious, what sort of money for the 132? I'm in the market very very soon but not sure I can be content with 103kw.

      Imagine the crazy Germans with there steins building the MV's it could be a highline in any hope

      There $58,000 with metallic same price as i paid for my MV in 2008
      Wait for MY12 alot more standard inclusions.

        $58k with no trade? Stock white should be even cheaper?

        A dealer I went to was telling me $63k for a stock 132 with no extras lol. Pays to shop around!!

          They are drive away till end of june 103 @ $49,990 132 @ $57,990 plus Metallic

          there is a nice white one at barloworld mascot with sports suspension and factory tint add $1,000 for these options
