Just picked up a new multivan 132 on the drive home from the dealer i noticed it has an oil temp reading in the multi function display and at times was reading over 100c is this too hot for oil temp or is this normal. Can't find anything in the hand book about it.

My Mk2 GTI had a temp display on the dash & on a hot day on a trip it would climb to 108c without speeding. A phone call to an oil co followed & the Technical dept assured me all was well.Understand how it works, troubleshoot logically BEFORE replacing parts.
