I have been taking a look at the parts now available by Just Kampers as mentioned by samp100 in another post.
Recond. engines are listed, albeit on special order, for considerably less than some wreckers want for possibly an old/tired engine. Some engines are listed on pages 9 & 10.
Hopefully, with a bit of healthy competion, other parts suppliers including VW will adjust their prices. I think everybody knows by now that we are being ripped off in Aust.
BTW, I have no connection with Just Kampers, just pleased to see more realistic prices.
