  • Servicing T5 and Warranty

Will be taking delivery soon of our new Caravelle. And something came up with our current MPV, a warning light came up. Anyway long story short. This place owners were the former Service Managers for Mazda and the other was service Manager for VW. They specialize in VW/Audi and Mazda late models only. So the question is, if they are following manufactures specs for each service and using gen parts etc... are you leaving yourself open to voiding the warranty?

How does that also apply to us adding the extended warranty close the new car one expiring. The spin you get from the dealer is you must be serviced etc as per guidelines to qualify for the extended warranty.

If you get it serviced to the book.. are we ok?

As long it is a proper business (not a back yard operator), follow the service manual strictly & using genuine parts you will be fine.
