That is great to know, I spent a precious 20 minutes trying to park around Clarence Street a week ago, I ended up in a tiny open air park on York Street, just past Wynyard on the left hand side past the park. I think it was a Wilson car park, It holds about 15 cars.
You can also get into the "Sheraton on the Park" car park in Castlereagh St easy , and I can just scrape in under the QVB building, although I only went as far as valet as I just touched the 1.95m clearance bar on the way in. I wasnt game to go any lower.
Thanks for the info, would love to know of any more as I am in there daily looking for parks.
BTW, how do you guys go in loading zones? I know its not strictly lega,l but they are so close to courier vans I get away with it alot.
i've parked in that open air one next to wynyard too but it's only got about twelve spaces an often gets full. loading zones are ok, mines a white multivan so i get away with it. i measured the van with no seat fitted in the back and it's 1.97m
