I think you will find that it is different for private and work vehicles, so see what your insurer says, as you don't want to be caught out.

I remember submitting my full spec list to my insurer as a $60K + "van" seemed high to them. Naturally this included the "ambulance" tint. Then again who knows if they bothered to read it in detail before sending out the premium advice. Should add that's for a commercial vehicle policy.Originally posted by blaast View PostComment

I've got 5% "ambulance" tint on the rear of my T5. No issues whatsoever. You can have the tint as dark as you want on the rear for commercial vehicles including utes.Comment
