Hi everyone.
My wife and I are considering buying a new Caravelle with 8 seats and are tossing up what sort of seat configuration we would like. I'd like to hear people's experiences with the front bench seat in either the Caravelle or Multivan.
1) Is the seat comfortable and practical? Does it feel cramped with 3 people in the front? Is the passenger bench seat less comfortable than the single passenger seat?
2) Does the front bench seat compromise safety? Can you get side airbags with the bench seat? How protected would the person sitting in the middle be?
