  • Wiper Arm Spring

    Hi All,

I discovered today that my wiper arm spring (RHS) has gone missing. (I suspect stolen from vehicle in my driveway !!! ). VW want $81 for a whole arm assembly, and, of course, don't sell just the spring. Brookvale spares have a minimum charge of $55 (plus shipping to Melb I suppose) for 1 or both arms.
No luck with Melb. wreckers so far. And the independant workshops I know are still closed for the holidays.

Any suggestions where to get just a spring, or a cheap RHS arm. Any-one know if the springs/arms are the same as T4's or any other models.

Don't laugh however I had to replace the springs in a flight simulator yoke, I can't remember where I bought them here in Melb. however the bag is labeled Century Spring Corp. USA. I think I bought them from a company that specialised in bolts in Moorabbin or Braeside. This is a link to Century in Aust: http://www.centurysprings.com.au/pro...d_overview.htm
so maybe you can call them and find a local stockist.
