Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Facelifted T5? What one earth is going on within VW?

I thought they'd wait another 15 years before they touched the T5 just to keep up with a tradition established by T2 and maintained until the demise of the T4. Have they no sense of TRADITION? No honour........how can the T5 expect to become a classic if it doesn't hang around like a bad smell well past its use by date?

C'mon.........it's not a boring old car!!! (no it's a boring new van )

A bit unusual, they must have something special in mind.

I have to say it was one of the strong points of buying the T4, that I had the current model (shape) for another 6 years.
