Conversion bits.

Hello everyone, got the T4 booked in for cambelt, pully's and water pump with JMac (very good with the comms and up front about costs) so am happy there, now I wanna start on phase 2. Minor camper conversion.

Should be good when its decked out, just want the basics for now so we can use the van for weekend trips etc and slowly build it up over time. Its SWB so want to keep it nice and simple as space is scarce as it is.


Question 1) Can anyone recommend good places to get the following work done:

- Left sliding door window converted to sliding window + extra window installed on right side.
- Whirly bird vent in roof
- Roof racks
- Seat in the back that converts into double bed

I plan to ring around and get a few quotes but just thought I could get some info on peoples experiences with different workshops around Brisbane. Also, I got parents on the sunshine coast so could get the work done up there if there is anyone worthy of it.


Question 2) Forgot what it was, will update if I ever remember.

In the Brisbane area Bris-Vans is worth checking out. Might not be as cheap as some but they do have a good reputation. They do seats and windows as well as other stuff.

Just rang Brisvans and found out that the company no longer exists. Aparently they went bankrupt a few months ago. Bummer

Hey Dave, how are you, ill be in touch about them other bits soon. By the way i have a bench seat i took out of my T4, ill never need it, if you can modify it in anyway you are welcome to it, also ping me your email and ill get some drawings to you.
by the way if you have success with the roof vent im keen to get one too
