Baker & Priem supply bullbars which are airbag compatible and are used by the NSW Ambulance Service. Installed at around $750.
As told to me by Emergency Vehicle Technology 16.09.09 who build such vehicles.
A reasonable assumption is that these bars are therefore of appropriate quality.
thanks Graeme, going to check em out, as happens, my van is an ex NSW ambo, so if they can re fit the same bullbar, would be perfect. Putting the van in for camper conversion in Sydney next week, so hopefully I can get the bullbar done while it's down there
Thanks again fella's

Do they need to cut the front plastic bumper bar to access the chassis rails? It looks like there are extensions from the chassis rails to the bottom of the bar.
Yes Coastie. You have to cut a slot in the fog light panel, which is removed easily. Did seem like a bit of a shame to start cutting up a new bumber, but happy with the result.
The guy fitting the bar was not confident enough to make the cut outs, neither was I , but I mustered up the courage eventually.
Ther are only 3 nudge bars for T5's that I could locate in Aus' and 2 require the bumper to be cut. This East Coast Bar is the neatest fit IMO.
The other bar (don't know who makes them) mounts beneath your bus and lowers your ground clearance.
The van is at Discoverer Campers in Revesby. Pick it up next week. The problem with my van was the roof. Being an ex ambo, had mid roof , so most companies would not take the mid roof off and replace with a pop top. My van now has pop top roof, wired up for solar, all plumbing and wiring is complete, flooring is in, now just the cabinets etc to finish off. Was supposed to pick it up this week, but was delayed cause the chippy broke his foot !! I haven't decided on full bull bar or nudge bar yet, my van has fog lights, so don't want to interfere with em. Thanks again fellas for all your replies !!
