What load rating do you need for wheels on a T5?

Placard on my T5 Crewvan says says tyre load rating "not less than 850kgs"

Whilst on the topic of wheels, can any of you knowledgeable fellas' tell me what the ET offset is of the standerd VW T5 17inch steel rims??

I'm thinking about fitting some to my bus.

I'm about to sell these wheels off my T5,
Can someone tell me if the H2 marking is the load rating for the rim please.

I think you might be right with the H2 stamping.
I have a set of OEM T5 alloy wheels which are stamped identically to your markings.

Nice looking wheels Guv. If they were 17's I'd be interested in them myself

next interesting thing is maybe talk of tyre rating.
I bought a Merc Vito Diesel Van at the right price
all tyres were different and one was so uneven it sounded and felt dangerous.

After trying to fit my other wheels with tyres from a 4wd I learnt the car needed C rated tyres ie Commercial. I am using it for private purposes, seems beyond certain load capacity
u need these ie 215 r70 x 15C
fisrt time i see this in 45 yrs of driving....lol
thought i'd share it.

Standard Steel rims for the T5 are
6.5 Jx16H2 ET51 5/120 850kg
6.5 Jx16H2 ET52 5/120 875kg
7 Jx17H2 ET55 5/120 850kg
7 Jx17H2 ET56 5/120 950kg

Load index of 102 = 850kg
Load index of 103 = 875kg
Load index of 106 = 950kg

With a bit of hub machining, landrover/rangerover, some BMW and some Commodore make the weight grade.
I've put VX Calais on my T5 twincab.

Have a look at momo.com. Their fitment list is a pretty good place to start.

Thanks bxb - The biggest load rating I've seen on Commodores is the pdw Vega at 825kg - I'll start looking at the BMWs thanks
