  • Multivan with 19's and 40mm lowering springs

It took a while but I’ve finally got the 19” rims on the Multivan and lowered it using H&R springs. The springs have only been in a week and at this stage the ride height has dropped about 25-30mm in front and 40-45mm at the rear.

    to this.

Looks much better not having the backend jacked up so much and the ground clearence is still very practical.

No rubbing problems at all, the front has heaps of room, the rear has about 5-10mm gap on the inner guard and about a 2mm gap to the interior trim when you open the sliding doors

Tyres are Hankook K110s - 245/45R19 102 load rated on the front and 275/40R19 105 load rated rear. They are an extra reinforced tyre and not cheap

Excellent work, would you be able to post a rear on shot to show the width with 10" rims and tyres.

Blog, Looks great. I did know bmw wheels had a 5 x 120 pcd and X5 wheels had a good load rating. But are there any mods required to the X5 wheels or wheel nuts, or do they go straight on ?

The X5 wheels use bolts with a tapered seat so the standard radius head T5 bolts will damage the X5 wheels eventually. I got some aftermarket 40mm long tapered head bolts to use on these wheels. Also the centre bore of the X5 wheel is larger than the T5 hub so I got some steel spigot rings made to locate the wheels properly on the hub.
