    You don't say what brand!

Mine is a Bocar and it is mounted across the main chassis rails (existing holes needed to be enlarged to 13mm) and to the bumper mounts just forward of the front wheel arches. In both instances, steel adapter mounts are used...and the bar bolts to these. From memory, the main mounts are U shaped steel section (one on each chassis rail) while the side mounts are flat bar with a hole in either end.

I may still have the brackets for my bar at the workshop. The bar was weighed in for scrap, but the mountings were on the van for a year. They are not now, so are probably in a box. Yours if you can find em. They are basically L shaped angle pieces that bolt to the van and the bar bolts to them.

Does anyone else have a bullbar that they could share photos of? Are the stainless A-Bars any good? I need to mount my lights, and have been looking around for a bar that I could afford. Where did you get yours?

This one is from Bocar. I've just customised it by powdercoating it charcoal and welding in some security mesh to fill the roo sized hole that the lights also sit in.

As it is a three part bolt together bar (main bar + lower skirt + upper bar work) it can be customised. You can remove all the hoops and just leave the alloy bumper. Or you can get a smaller single hoop bent up and bolt that in.

There'll be a few out there on the used & abused market...

I've been looking at one that is very similar if not the same. It is also very used and abused - that is 150 bucks. How much was the powder coating? I hadn't thought of that. Is yours alloy? It looks very nice.

This one requires a bit of powdercoating http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....m=220424622083

mine has the usual NSW ambo t4 bar fitted hydro power with sticker that says it may not comply with the crumple zone ADR but it is powdeer coated alloy & well designed for extra lights & you can stand on it to clean the screen always a chore has the under skirt .
you can leave it on & still remove the grill & swing the cooling system out for bug& grass removal thats a must ,
                      photo if required.

hey david , some pics of your setup would be great , love the fact that you can still pop the rad forward. you cant do that with many t4 bullbars.

Here is my bar held in place with 4 12mm bolts the 2 on top under the big staino washers & bolts the ones under the bar are grade 5 auto bolts .
Space from bar to body 55,0 mm enough to withdraw the skirt & grill .
Gunna put 2 nonskid patches on the top surface where I stand to cleen the screen just waiting for white stuff to arrive .
I could not get a good shot of the warning notice will try in daylight next time the van is out .
As you can see its a TJM brand
                          TC .

Yes mine is an alloy bar. Also happens to be airbag compatible. Powder coating cost me $100.......colour choices are immense. www.duluxpowdercoating.com.au
