Crewvan with rear wing doors.

Does anyone own or know of someone that has a T5 Crewvan with rear wing doors? Last time I checked it wasn't a possible combination as a tailgate was only available. However I thought a salesman told me he submitted an order through with this option and it wasn't rejected. This was last December while waiting for a service to be completed and I didnt find out if the order was accepted.

As far as I know.....they are a factory option. You can order them. You just have to wait four to six months for the van to turn up.

VW Australia may order one or two off their own bat (like they used to do with the T4 Crewcabs) but that is unlikely unless they have a history of customer orders first.

Well actually the VW Australia pdf

shows it as not available on the Crewvan. The reason I asked here is because the salesman I spoke to also knew this however he had sent through a customer's order requesting wing doors and it hadn't been knocked back at the time we were speaking and I never got round to finding out if the order was accepted.
