  • Temporary electrical fault

About every 6 months, there is an intermittant fault in my 2006 kombi beach (multivan 96kw).

The things that I am aware of that stop working are the aircon and external/internal air flow button, the electric window, the blinker click and dash lights (although the external blinkers work), and maybe there are other things I am not aware of.

I have checked all fuses while it is faulty, but if you leave the car and come back in about 10min its all working again. Just turning off the ignition and on again does not correct the fault.

Can someone with knowledge of the circuitry, deduce what relay or fault could cause this particular set of failures.

    Thanks
    Brian

You need dealer to have a look at it or at least someone with VCDS(Vag-com).

The fault is gone later, do you think it would be stored for Vag-Com access.

It could be but I don't guarantee it.
Find somebody with VCDS in your area, write the post to Golf V section, maybe somebody will be helpful.
