stupid 4motion question

dumb question time.

Can I buy a multivan and change it (convert it) to 4motion later?

can anyone point me to an explanation (prefer some form of detail not just company spiel) of how the 4motion system works with the vans?

Retrofitting is probably not a practical idea. Certainly isn't with the Sycro setup in the T4 and I can't see how it would be any different with the Haldex 4motion
