T5 Rear window washer

Does yours work? Mine just does not seem to work properly. It blasts out the little hole and hits the plastic cover that I assume is meant to deflect the stream of water out onto the window but all it seems to do is just fizz all over the place and the far edge of the wiper is dry while the section closest to the spray is ok.

Mine was replaced under warranty, it didn't spray correctly. It now sprays up at about 11 o'clock angle so the initial wipe has water on it. I don't know how adjustable they are don't use it much at all. I didn't even know it was not working properly until it appeared on the warranty list as replaced.

i have a T5 and when you press the washers the wipers go first scatching the window with dry blades after 2 wipes the water finally comes to the screen!
can this be adjusted so the water comes out BEFORE the wipers start??

T4 does this too. You'd need to put a little delay circuit into the wiper circuit...or see if the engine management software allows you to introduce a delay in the switch program....

Just tested mine (my07 T5) before posting and my washer fluid hits the screen just as the wipers are 2/3 through the initial arc. I add a very small amount of detergent in the bottle every fill which also keeps things lubricated.

I was only wondering about this yesterday. Even Holden have their washer spray water before the blades start. Any info you may be able to find is appreciated on how to modify this. I'll place this post on the UK based sites as well, as those fellas are always modding their vans.
