VW T5 tdi250 after sitting 3 years

What is recommended for first start of a 2014 vw t5 that has not been driven since covid ?

Vehicle only has 55000km

Will have diesel tank drained and change all filters.

What else is important when not started so long ?

Change the oil and filter Battery is likely stuffed or need charging before testing it.

Diesel is probably ok unlike petrol it doesn't separate. and as long as no water in it should be OK I got some 400L of diesel from an old heating tank and it was fine used it good as gold.
