  • Europe travel in a T4. How much??

    Hi all.
Me and the girlfriend are planning a trip to Europe for 12 months starting around April. We're looking at buying a T4 camper, or just a straight T4 and converting it.
Can anyone shed some light on how much a T4 in reasonable condition might cost in Europe? Are they cheaper to buy in some countries than others?
We'll be spending 2-3 months in the van driving all over Europe.
    Any advice would be ace!
    Cheers,

Generally speaking, T4 campers are not really cheap, especially the Westfalia ones.
They are quite hunted and there is more ask than offers so their prices are higher than normal T4.

Obviously, the best country to buy a T4 is Germany as there are plenty of them to sale. Netherland too as a lot of a re straight coming outta Germany.

You got to remember that because Europa is quite more a country than ever, buying and selling cars throughout the countries of Europa is easier than before. In fact the main problem is more because of the speaking languages.

A lot of french people would prefer to buy their T4 is Germany because they will gain more than 2000-3000 euros or more on the transaction. But because they can't speak german they simply can't make the deal.

      Don't forget T2 or T3 vans they're generally cheaper

Hint: pick a copy of VolksWorld Camper and Bus for good stockist tips in UK and Europe.

cool thanks people. The reason we dont really want the T2 or T3 is for comfort, speed, and fuel consumption. The T4 diesel is by far the better of the three.
