Inserted the wrong key into ignition switch setting off the alarm and activating immobilizer. Tried the correct key, remote works but immobilizer remains activated. Keys checked with automotive locksmith who stated the keys are good and matched. The diesel engine starts and runs for less than an two seconds before shutting down. Left battery disconnected 30 minutes (that resolved previous remote lock/unlock function), reset batteries in both remotes but immobilizer activated. Any known solutions for this mess.
