Ordered our T6.1 4motion

Well, the die is cast... I just ordered our new T6.1 LWB 4motion, in Pure Grey.
Now the wait begins....the dealer will contact us in a day or two with the delivery time....
then we'll convert it into a camper...more $$$$$ !!!!!!!
It'll be great to be back in the VW family after a long break.

Nice option list,

Rip those Tires of the Devonports, powder coat them black and throw on some KO2 225/60/R17 and you will have a beast and the speedo is spot on with these tyres, well it is on mine.

I wanted the Pure Grey when i ordered mine, but they wouldn't supply a painted Midroof for that colour or painted bumpers, so i didn't go for it, in hindsight, i should have just got the Bumpers and Roof painted by a bodyshop, as that Pure Grey is the bomb

It's just an awesome colour, shame they don't offer it on the Crafter

It'll handle better with the Seikel Suspension, we haven't had any trouble with our Seikel Lift after 40,000km.

Thanks for your comments, yep - the "delivery" tyres will be taken off very quickly, and we are going for the KO2s as well... I was wondering about the speedo...so thanks for that info.

Had a chance to "see" the new T6.1 today at Bayford VW in Camberwell.
Ours is still a way off yet.... they say it'll be June (maybe)
Tried to post a pic, but it kept coming out "sideways"... any ideas why ?
