Hi , first time poster , long time viewer .
Looking for a TCU for my 1997 T4 Automatic Transporter with an AET engine and 4 speed transmission , the TCM part number can be either
01P927733BJ or 01P927733BK I know that a lot of the T4 crew take out the auto when it ****s itself and put in a "manual gearbox " so you may have the TCM sitting not connected behind the kick trim on the pass side in front of the bonnet pull .
I bought this car for a mates daughter for her first car knowing that the transmission was giving trouble and after checking with VW i discovered that it had the incorrect TCM fitted , so i still really dont know wether the trannie is stuffed or not till i get the right part .
