  • Tyres. 245/65R17

Hi just wondering if 245/65 R17 amarok wheels & tyres would fit straight on a 2011 T5 multivan TDI 2.0 diesel without any rubbing, I’ve measured the arch looks tight, anyone one else running these
    Cheers
    Riche.[emoji1690][emoji1690]

I'll grab Pic in a moment, but I'm running standard 17s with 245/65 17 and I rub. But I have a standard height van. Saving for some king springs.

Bugger, set came up for a good price & tyres were almost new for $400. [emoji3525][emoji3525]

Ah thanks for the pics, they look good though, do they only rub when turning? Also what’s 49 & 54?

Yeah. I just trimmed the front bumper where it goes into the wheel well. Number refers to the offset... How much the stick out the guard. The lower the number the more they stick out. There are some rims for 400, but they're et 25.. A bit too aggressive. Maybe after the springs go in.

Does trimming the bumper stop all the rubbing or do you need to get those kings??
Still wondering weather I buy the ones I saw??
                I’m standard height too.

Buy them and see. Superchep have the springs for 460 delivered... If they are the right ones.... You'll always be right as the majority of the whee is online with the bumper. It only takes a Stanley knife to trim the bumper.

I use 245/65x17 on 17x7.5in ET35 rims and they only just touch on full lock. I do have raised King Springs though. Fills the guards nicely.

Are they 16s? Also are the tyres rated?
