Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • T6 Adjustable Suspension

    Hi all,

I was speaking with a couple at the Newcastle camping show a couple of weekends ago and was quiet impressed with the conversions they did but of most interest was the self levelling suspension kit they had fitted.

Has anyone had experience with either the van suspension conversion they offer. They can be found here at VB FullAIr 4C Suspension Kit - Camper Envy

    Any advice would be appreciated.

Hey happycamper can't say any experience with this but aim to get air suspension on my van at some point, and reviewing online it seems VB air are the most highly esteemed option. Would be looking to get the offroad (extra 3cm height) setup with I think it's called emergency fill option, though the overall price will delay my purchase unfortunately. I tried to call camper envy just now to chat but didn't answer. I have previously spoken with VB-Airsuspension Australia - Home | Facebook who I believe are the Australian distributor.

Not sure if there are other comparable solutions from suppliers that might have a lower price point, and still easy to get engineering certification within NSW?
