Hi all,
Our van is a 3 litre version. The bonnet latch has detached itself at the bonnet end. no problem I googled it with with the general consensus being remove the engine underbody , reach up with a piece of metal and you can unlatch it. Well those instructions must have been for the TDI version because you cannot acess the patch from underneath. The only way has been from behind the right hand wheel arch and cobbling together a wire tool to release the latch. well 3 hours later my mechanic still couldn’t get it too release and we are facing the real option of cutting a hole in the bonnet. Does anyone have any ideas, would prefer not to take such drastic action
