Hi guys- has anyone on here done the above? My t5 has had the dpf light pop on and off on the dash a few times this past few weeks, last time this happened the egr went and I had that replaced- I’m not looking at replacing any more of the exhaust parts as it’s a daily driver and does a fair bit of small trip driving. I am thinking of doing away with the stuff that’s causing the issues.
I have been quoted around 2k for the work which involves-
Egr switch off
Dpf - cut open, internals removed, rewelded back together to look like it’s still in place. Delete dpf sensor
Remap ecu + 25bhp + 50nm torque
I am really looking for some advice to who has done this- pros cons ect
Thanks for any advice in advance-
J
