Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Great range for EV, but from what I've read elsewhere, it has very disappointing acceleration for EV and when compared to diesel or even old 2.0L petrol.

    It has a great range for a EV at this time, its odd that the EV Transporter has more range than the EV Crafter.

    I know the Crafter is limited to 90kmh.

    Thats odd about the reviews of disappointing acceleration, with EV there is instant torque, maybe the have reduce the power to save the driveline....

    But it's a start, i'm guessing in another 3 years there will be revised version with more range, better acceleration.
