  • Air Conditioning Upgrade

    Hi guys,

My Caddy AC has never been cold enough and talking to others it's not just mine. I was wondering if you can get it upgraded?

    Thanks.

It's the same setup as a Golf, so unless you have a partition behind the front seats, it's not going to be as good as a Golf.

Also look into changing your cabin filter, if you haven't already. This can also have an effect on performance.

Another thing to look at is, measuring the temperature out of the dash vents. On medium fan speed, full cold, and on recirc, it should get down to around 4deg C.

Hi. I also have a Caddy with the air con not as cold as I woud like and the airflow control dial doesn't work either. Is the dial a simple fix or should I take it to a mechanic? Thanks

You can look into a HyChill gas swap out.
I have mates who swapped the gas in other types of car and say its day and night difference.
