Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Does anybody know of company on Brisbane Southside (Logan) capable of lowering a current model Caddy Maxi Comfortline?
Mine should finally arrive in Brisbane early October (was ordered in May but had to wait for 2018 badged model) and I need to get it lowered immediately for ease of entry of disabled wife.
Yes I know of the Darkside Kits for the rear available from the UK but am hoping for something from AUS and can use local GOLF front shocks

    Thanks in advance
    Derek

    Found solution

I finished up purchasing this kit from Germany
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/KW-Gewindefahrwerk-f%C3%BCr-VW-Caddy-Maxi-2K-Variante-1-10280065-50-90-65-95mm/381435476005?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid =p2057872.m2749.l2649

It was fitted for me by GRAHAMS STREET WHEELS AND TYRES in Moss St. Slacks Creek, Logan, Qld.
It was the first time that they had lowered a Caddy of any model.
It was a new learning experience for the crew there but now they have done it once they should be prepared for future conversions.
YOU will have to provide the kit yourself.
