VW: it aint just a car, its a way of life There are few things more satisfying in life than finding a solution to a problem and implementing it
My Blog: tinkererstales.blogspot.com.au
we had an orange Caddy on our stand on the weekend at the VW nats. This one had H&R Coil overs in the front and reset rear leaf spring.Lowering achieved 80mm. You can see it in the pics from the Nats
Owner has another Caddy which we lowered with a set of H&R springs. Lowering achieved 55mm. This one does not look as good, but it drives nicer and is more comfortable.
Also, when lowering the car, you have to take in consideration, what happens with control arms and other suspension components, and bushings..
Sometimes, less is more
