  • Caddy Lowering springs

    Hey guys, does anyone know where i can get some lowering springs for my 2007 Caddy Van?

    I want it pretty low, like atleast 70mm drop.

    bro, have a chat to Dragan at Inmotive (he'll be at Nats)
    he's the KW and Weitec rep and i got my springs for $385 and i think the lowest drop is 60mm all round for springs

      It has leaf springs in the rear though! may be time to do some heating

        I can remember using lowering blocks with longer U bolts on my Valiants, a long, long time ago.

          Yeah the axle is underneath the springs though and you can't swap them round. Already checked.

          Just looking for front springs, i can get the single leaf in the rear re-set by the suspension place in town, they do a top job.

            most big brands do the front springs only, you can get H&R from TCCA Motorsports in Sydney

              Hey Preen59,

              we had an orange Caddy on our stand on the weekend at the VW nats. This one had H&R Coil overs in the front and reset rear leaf spring.Lowering achieved 80mm. You can see it in the pics from the Nats
              Owner has another Caddy which we lowered with a set of H&R springs. Lowering achieved 55mm. This one does not look as good, but it drives nicer and is more comfortable.
              Also, when lowering the car, you have to take in consideration, what happens with control arms and other suspension components, and bushings..
