Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

          same old crappy leaf spring rear end by the looks of it. basically just another facelift model. pretty disappointing tbh

            Interesting that they are making a Gas only engine model for the Euro market... Would be awesome to see the return of the caddy ute too.

                The Caddy Generation 4 as VW call it is basically a heavily revised Generation 3 in the same vein as the Golf Mk5 to Golf Mk6.
                Leaf spring will carry on in the Caddy, at the end of the day it is a commercial vehicle / entry level MPV. In Europe VW have the Touran with its multi link suspension rear end. Hence why also the Caddy will not get a multi link suspension.

                Yes, VW have Natural Gas versions of the Golf 7 and up! in Europe as well.
