Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • Caddy axle centreing plates

    Hey guys.

I'm pleased to announce that I now have (in stock, ready for delivery) our own TPR Engineering axle centreing plates!

As many of you would know, when you lower a Caddy and flip the axle, it moves the rear wheels forward in the wheel arch. It's an issue with every commercially available Caddy lowering kit I know of and this includes KW.

These give you an option of 15mm or 20mm linear axle movement towards the rear. As you can see below, i've fitted them to my Caddy and it's spot on in the centre.

    These are $85.00 including delivery.

    Cheers!

Sorry, mate. No point. Better to buy a complete KW kit to be honest. Do it once, do it right.

Can you get the KW rear kit separately? I already have coilovers but having trouble finding the rear kit for a reasonable price. $500 from darkside for a few metal plates and 8 bolts seems too much to justify.

When you consider the time, testing and engineering involved in it $500 is a fair price.

KW don't separate the kits, sorry mate.
