If any one wants to mod their Caddy seriously, was just skyping with my bro in New Zealand and they have Tourans there.

So if you want parts may be worthwhile chasing wreckers over the ditch rather than pommisland/Germany/Poland.

What mods can you do from Touran parts? Different car, aren't they?

Door cards,
Complete dash... includes lids on top trays and glove box lid
Seats with storage under frame
front carpets instead of rubber mats
better console
electric windows (if your caddy only has wind up)

sad part from my research is NZ ones are all petrol engines boo hiss

do a google search on Caddy forums and see what some guys get up too. Ive seen a Golf GTI complete front body grafted to a Caddy. also a GTI engine transplant plus the braking system

Japan got the Touran in an official capacity, too.

Only worth mentioning, since Japan is a common channel for import parts into Australia.

VW were assembling the Caddy in China but that seems to have gone.
