Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Cargo Barried and roof racks

    Hi,

    I just bought another VW Caddy and it has no roof racks or cargo barrier (2008 model). I am located in QLD and can you buy these parts from anywhere else other than a dealership for under $500???

    Help would be greatly appreciated!

    you can get rhino or similar roof racks and for cargo barrier.. maybe have a look if someone is selling a second hand one ? maybe wreckers ? i took mine off as it was limiting my seating position.

      I made a custom cargo barrier. Marin plywood with a prospects window and carpeted both sides. Looks mint.
