FYI to those that don't know VW will release with 2-3 years a utility to compete with HiLux and Navara etc.

I like the fact that with the 7 seats, you have room for luggage. Plus being longer in the leg room, it looks like adults can sit in the 3rd row.

The only downside would be the pricing... the other week I was in at the dealer and the sales rep told me that the price on the Caddy's has gone up a little. It's now $38k TDI + DSG.

I asked him why they didn't put a bigger engine in, and he said that it would put it well over the $40k mark. I suspect, that with the top version of the Maxi, you would expect to pay $50k+.

By going this much, you are getting up to the price of Chrysler Voyager etc.
