  • Rns510 in a 2011 caddy

    Hey all,
Doing some early research and was wondering if anybody has an insight into fitting an rns510 headunit into a new caddy?

Bit unsure about wiring looms and the gps aerial at the moment.

Anybody had any luck with this?

I've seen quite a few of these head units floating around eBay, and am interested in fitting one.

    Cheers

hello, all you need is a GPS antenna with a FAKRA connector (available on ebay for >$10). The unit is plug and play!
It'd work with steering wheel controls and dash display (if fitted).
both my brother and my Caddys - we used good quality body-moulding double sided tape to stick the antenna next to the dash-top tray thing, on top of the aircon ducting. His has been there for nearly 4 years and it's still stuck on
