Hi guys. I've got a 2005 TDI Caddy which is starting to wander on motorways and in side winds.Car has done 130,000 KM's.Wondering if anything in front end/suspension should be checked out and if so,what.
some of the bushes will have started flogging out. I know my control arm bushes on my 100,000km polo are stuffed. Have you got a wheel allignment recently?

Is the changing of direction coming from the front or back?
Josh's bushes would have flogged out prematurely due to ride height.. I'm expecting my Caddy's bushes to do the same to some extent for the same reason.
For the front... Jack the car up and check for forward-back movement in the control arm bushes. Also check for movement in your rack ends (try to move the wheel left-to-right. If there's play there, your rack ends need attention. IE, replacement.).
The back would probably require putting it up on a hoist to check the leaf bushes..
