  • 60k Caddy Service

Hey All, just wondering what have people paid for their 60k service i am asking this for my fatherinlaw who has been told by vw (brisbane somewhere) that they will be working on his car all day and its $1000, what is involved or required in the 60k service to be costing $1k.
    Thanks in advance guys.

Im not sure on prices but for other people to help you you need to state if the caddy is manual transmission or DSG, will make alot of difference in price......sounds too expensive for not DSG and too cheap if it does has a DSG change...........vwtech...

If it is a DSG, then yes, it'll be expensive.

Basically, in a 60k service, you'll get new engine oil and filter, a fuel filter, new DSG oil and filter, the usual light check, and kick of the tyres. More than likely, you'll get new brake fluid too, depending on it's age.

Sounds abbout right...don't forget all services with a ZERO at the end are considered major ones. All the ones with a FIVE at the ends are minor about 2 hour jobs - depending if there are issues with the car.
