Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • Polo GTI Lowering Spring and Coilovers

    Hey folks,

Not sure if this is the right forum - I was wondering if anyone here has installed lowering springs or coilovers on their ride?

I used to have Tein springs before changing to BC Racing coilovers for my Honda, and now that I've changed to Polo GTI AW, I'm looking for some recommendations.

Also, wondering if there's any recommended mechanics near/around Sydney city/Waterloo area for installation?

    Cheers!

Decided to go for BC racing coilovers. They had no stock for Polo MK6 so had to wait for 2-3 weeks for it to arrive. So far only Prestige Tyre and Auto in Marrickville, and European Galleria in Artarmon have said they can provide installation. Anyone has any other recommendations?

I think justjap are the main suppliers of bc coilovers so maybe try them?

True, was looking for options closer to where I live as they are about 40-45 minutes drive away, plus it's an 8am drop-off and 4pm same day pick up - weekdays only.
