Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    TowBar for 6n2

    just wondering if anyone has a towbar on there 6n2? i cant get one through any off my normal suppliers but have found a place in sydney that does them....never used them or heard of them..

    just wondering if anyone has one for sale or has one fitted and where they got it from?

    there was one from europe listed on our local ebay lately i think.. it may have been 6n1 and 6n2, but it was the proper VW type ones where it mounts to the sides of the rear of the body rather than the hayman reece way of just drilling into the rear beever looking panel.... i have one of those on my car.. not too bad but not that strong i wouldnt think

        thats for a 6r, they're after a 6n2 one

        that was the one that i was thinking of... could ask if its also suitable for a 6n2.. it only lists 6n1 but you never know...
