Quick Question: Oil Filter

Just comin up to 7,000km and Im going to change the oil to either Castrol Edge 0W-40 or Mobil 1 0W-40...

Do I need to worry about changing the Oil Filter as well?

I had a quick search thru the other threads, but didnt find it...

the filter is only 17 bucks, just change it incase any metal scraps let behind!

I would, but that's just me. Make sure its genuine - should be around $18.
