Mine sits between 90-100 for normal driving.

On the track it can hit 125. Yesterday it was only 16 so it never went above 120

Mine shows dead on 90 degrees all the time. Never over never under (except for the first 5 minutes of driving when it's been off for ages).

Yes something is wrong because anything above 130 is not good.

Guys, are you talking about oil temp or coolant temp?
As in your thread you are mentioning different things.

Do Polo GTI's have oil temperature guages? Cool if they do!

However; if you are talking about coolant temp, should be bang on 90 degrees...

I was confused, my comment was about coolant, cos normal GTIs don't have oil temp guages, however, these 2 have got guages and they were talking about oil.

In the 'what did you do to your Polo today thread' Jason has just posted pics of an oil temp gauge. So I knew he was talking about oil temp not coolant temp.

I'd like to see where 130-140 is on the stock coolant gauge.
