    Hi all,

Newbie to this forum, posting from Cape Town, South Africa.

Just got myself a VW Cross Polo, and having had a Golf GTi, and using Vortex for technical tips, it was great to find this site for Polo tech tips.

I have been trying to get the front bumper off, in order to replace the existing headlight cluster with the GTi-type but haven't had any success getting the bumper off, anyone have a DIy removal instruction, please.

Hey Mate...Welcome to the Forum. That is a very tidy looking Polo there. Unfortunately we don't get the Cross Polo in Australia, but I dare say the removal of the front bar would be similar to the removal of the front bar of a GTI.
What type of engine do you have in it? Diesel or Petrol? They look pretty flash, and I love he colour. I think you may even be the first Cross Polo on here(anyone correct me if I'm wrong).
I think you will find the guys on here more than willing to help you with any of your queries, and we also have a great search function too.

        Thanks guys,

It's those four screws-thingies under the centre of the bumper that are the cause of the frustration, gonna have to wait til next weekend to continue.

The Cross is only available here in 1.9Tdi, 74kW model. This one is Magma Orange and Dimension Orange interior trim. After a seven month wait for the car, it was worth it.
