  • Removing Wax

    hey all,

after waxing my GTI i noticed some residue in some hard to reach spots, like inside and between the letters of the GTI and VW badges. i can't reach inside the areas properly with a cloth. there is also some in the join lines between different panels. is there a spray or something that can dissolve the wax? keep in mind that it's on the metal body, so i'm not sure about using trim cleaners. scraping it off with a toothpick is my last resort.

    Paint brushes.

Get a soft brush and soak it in warn water with a little soap to soften it up, let dry and then brush out any wax.

Next step is a soft bristle toothbrush.
