Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Just wondering if anyone out there has one of these tools left over from a single mass clutch conversion - 02J bellhousing on the 02R gearbox. Its the one at the top. If so please let me know and maybe we could work something out deposit wise if you're willing to lend it.
    Also does anyone have a dedicated flywheel lock or can you get away with a generic one.

    If you can handle coming down to St Marys you can have it . I throw these out all the time .
    I'll get back to you in regards to an LSD , Im just finishing a Polo with a wavetrac which I havent tested before , only peloquin .

      Yeah Ican get out to St Mary's no worries. Thanks that'd be great. Yeah i'll be all ears to hear whether you think there is any difference between the wavetrac and the other torsens.
