Nah they aren't a plain k04-001, it's got marginally larger wheels if I recall correctly.
We have the same turbo, tune by the same provider (slightly different as we run different size injectors), but very similar set-ups. If you've got the supporting mods, the k04 is a great upgrade. It makes a faster car, but more progressive through revs and boost, doesn't rush like the k03s which can feel very peeky in the mid range and on the highway. The k04 is just below boost at highway speeds, whereas the k03s' are in ideal boost range. i.e. 5th gear highway runs from 80kph, the k03s will easily run away from the k04, but drop it a gear or two and it's gooone. k03s starts to run out of puff a bit under 5krpm, the k04 is dancing.

good reminder because I keep thinking my K04 is slow due the lack of 'rush' at low rpm... until I play at 5000-6500rpm
