I was just wondering how long u waited for your polo?

I waited 5 weeks after i signed the paper work, and test drove one from the gold coast like 10times lol.

i think i waited 3 or 4 weeks.. i think those were the worst 3/4 weeks of my life.

i wanted to anyone who got on the wrong side of me because i was so over the wait LOLLL i had wanted one for over 1.5 years before i started saving in April last year..

4 working days. That included changing wheels to the 17s, detailing etc etc. Finance wasn't organised until the day I picked it up either.

took about a month... then i took it back for a day to have the 17's fitted.. took a passat for a spin whilst i waited.

From memory, it took me about 5 months. Worth the wait, allowed me to save up some more money, so wasn't all bad.

10 weeks of agony, the dealer must have hated me as I bugged him at least once a week but it was worth the wait.

Why being a P plater would of changed anything? I am a plater

not sure what state your from, but in nsw its illegal for a P plater to drive any turbo/supercharged or V8 car. So it wouldn't have turned out very good for me if I had an accident or something. Most turbo diesels are exempt from this rule.

From QLD, we have that law now.. but its only for people becoming P platers.

10 working days for the GTI. Hell of a lot better than the Mazda's - 3 months for the SP23 and 6 months for my father's 6 - ridiculous!

Mine took a week.
Went with my old man 2 pick it up, and had a wikkid blast thru the back streets on the way home, with him "chasing" in his Golf GTI...
