  • Koni Sport Kit--> $1190

    Hello all!

    yes the price is real.

    I have talk with wholesale suspension and they could make us a deal if we have five people that order the kit for the price as mentioned on the title ($1190).

    Anyone interested? Need 4 more+myself.

    Adam

    Inners!

    Whats included in the kit and how much lower will they take the GTI?

    If the offer is still up in about a month or so when i get my GTI and they'll drop it 45-55mm all round i'll be in for sure

      Is it an eibach/koni yellow combo or FSD?

        Its koni yellow kit, so it means adjustable dampening struts and koni yellow springs. Do a search for a post i did called "what do you get when" in the polo section that has picks of the kit.

                  I would think a couple of hours at a competent workshop. Maybe Golfloon can help you out there?

                    Plus a wheel alignment.
                    Probably around $350 would be my guess.

                      How would these compare to entry level KW's?

                        If you are talking about the KW Sports suspension kit (shocks & springs) then I would say it compares well. The Koni include adjustable rebound on the shocks (Fronts on car, rears must be removed) The KW sports suspension has no adjustibility, but otherwise quite similar.

                        KW list a suspension drop of 35mm front and rear, and the Koni kit 40mm front and rear. (they appear to be drops from stock height so take 15mm off for GTI)

                          KW is for height adjustable - $1800
                          This Koni sport kit is dampener adjustable (fixed height) - $1190

                          PRice wise, can't compare them both....But if you do have to...
